Larry Flynt's Hustler empire includes Hustler Magazine, a casino, brick and mortar stores, an internet presences as well as some of the best known video lines in the history of porn including the Barely Legal series.

Hustler is a monthly Pornographic Magazine aimed at men.  It was first published in 1974 by Larry Flynt. IThe magazine grew out of a newsletter that Flynt published to help promote his Ohio strip clubs. The magazine grew to a peak circulation of around 3 million, with current circulation estimated to be less than 500,000. The magazine was one of the first major men's magazines in the United States to break the taboo that existed in the early seventies by showing much more explicit views of the female genitalia than other popular magazines of the time such as Playboy.

Hustler is still considered more sexually explicit and more low-brow than its well known competitors such as Playboy and Penthouse. It frequently depicts hardcore themes, such as the use of sex toys, penetration and group sex.
